The Top Ten Fantasy fantasy Draft picks
I used to play Fantasy Football back in its early days, i.e. back when you had to look at boxscores in the Monday newspapers. The internet transformed this from a hobby into a big business. A business that was overrun by degenerate gamblers. Between 2004-2008, there must have been thousands of Americans on the web day-trading, playing Texas Hold ‘Em, and fantasy football at the same time – all while at work! The Top Ten COBRA characters
The things that make an army so effective is their emphasis on discipline, order, loyalty, and hegemony. The idea is that you can take a group of men (nowadays it’s men and women) from different locations and all walks of life, and transform them into a solitary unit that eats, thinks, and breathes alike, and is completely interchangeable. The uniforms create a sense of solidarity and brotherhood (and sisterhood). This is not a ragtag group of misfits, who are iconoclastic, wearing clashing outfits, with very little in common, and all on their own personal, individual agendas. Today, I will talk about the latter – the animation of the 1990’s.

Now that it has been at least a decade and a half since it ended, we can safely begin the 1990’s nostalgia wave…. Wait, what do mean it already started?
The Top Ten Movie Posters
Before the advent of the trailer, the only way movie goers got to learn what films were coming soon were from movie posters. Incidently, it was also the only way movie goers were deceived. To paraphrase Queensryche’s Operation:Mindcrime, “Don’t ever trust a trailer, it lies.” Continue reading “The Top Ten Movie Posters”
The Top Ten Movie Soundtracks
Sometimes, the only difference between a good movie and a sublime movie is the soundtrack. Other times, the soundtrack is what makes or breaks a movie. then, there are times when the soundtrack outpaces the movie itself. So whether you have a bunch of retro hits of the past, or contemporary songs that became Top Ten hits that year, or a combination of the old and new, the choice of what songs will accompany the movie can be one of the most critical decisions made in order to ensure its commercial success.
