The Top Ten Candy bars

fun size
You’ve been a good reader. Here, have some candy.

We sure love our candy. We love it so much, we’ve dedicated two holidays towards the buying and selling of sweets. SEO firms are paid big bucks by Big Candy to grab those sweet spots in the Google search rankings, (i.e.: the Top 3 of Page 1).

It is a shame that the candy store has become a thing of the past. The paradox is that as the candy industry became bigger and bigger, the small mom-and-pop stores couldn’t compete with the giant discount stores and pharmacy chains. It’s a pity. I can’t imagine millennials today having as much fun in a Walmart or CVS store, as me and my friends had at a real candy store. (To be honest, the candy store I went to also sold cigarettes as well, so the parents could buy their own “candy” as well.)

But candy covers a lot of ground. So today, we are focusing our attention towards candy bars. That’s not to say we limited ourselves to just rectangular chocolates. There are some non-quadrilateral brands that qualified. In other words, no Smarties, no m&m’s, no Hershey Kisses, and other various confectionaries. Maybe next Halloween? ¯_(ツ)_/¯

With Keith and I being Americans, our lists are heavily influenced and dominated by the Hershey’s and Mars brands. Sorry Euros, I know you guys also make so sweet sweets, but we couldn’t afford to import them over here.

So without further adieu, here are our lists.
